About #covidWISE
#covidWISE is a project initiated by Copenhagen Business School (CBS), founded in the autumn of 2020 with the support from the Danish Innovation Foundation. The initiative develops and supports emerging social entrepreneurs with temporary business models, aimed at addressing the economic, social and health consequences of Covid-19. The aim of project is to empower participants to engage in counteracting the consequences of the pandemic. We do this by encouraging them to explore the social and economic problems resulting from the crisis and to identify creative solutions. Particularly, we expect them to create business models providing options for those who have lost their jobs or livelihoods. From this ultimate goal stems the name of our project #covidWISE, which stands for Covid Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISE).
Meet The Team

Sannah Höglund
As the Project Manager for #covidWISE, my main focus lies in attracting and recruiting social entrepreneurs, both potential and current. You could say my passion for the startup sector was born in New York, where I spent a year developing and starting up Gateway, a Nordic co-working space and innovation hub for start- and scaleups, initiated by the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce. My ambition for #covidWISE is to help social entrepreneurs turn an idea into a viable practice which can be replicated. Education-wise, I hold a Bachelor in Economics from Uppsala University and I am currently pursuing an MSc in Advanced Economics and Finance at Copenhagen Business School.

Hannah Janetta Olsen
For the COVID-wise project, my focus is on creating a bridge to fill the gap between the Babele and the Coursera MOOC on Social Entrepreneurship. I am currently studying for my masters in Supply Chain Management at the Copenhagen Business School, but I frequently have extensive passion projects and delve into research related to different aspects of social entrepreneurship, and I am especially interested in applying knowledge and working in areas where these disciplines interconnect. I am looking forward to watching your projects develop and seeing how this platform brings your most innovative dreams to life.

Nicola Dottorini
I’m a master student in brand and communications management with a passion for content creation. In fact, that’s what I do in covidWISE, supporting the creation of videos and podcasts to be shared on our channels. I have previous experience in both marketing and sales, and eventually decided to pursue the more creative side of the matter.
